El peso oficial del disco es de 175 grs. o de 165 grs.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">Se considera ganador el equipo que primero haga 19 puntos, siempre sacando una diferencia de 2 puntos.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">Para dar inicio al juego uno de los participantes lanza el disco al campo contrario pero antes de lanzarlo debe avisarle al grupo contrario para que este se disponga para el juego y así poder dar inicio.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">Una de la principales normas es que no se debe retener el disco por mas de 10 seg. en campo abierto y 8 seg. en campo cerrado, tampoco se puede correr con el disco en las manos solo se puede mover el pie de pivoteo (como en el baloncesto); cuando el disco toca tierra, cuando sale fuera del campo de juego, cuando el jugador retiene el disco mas del tiempo estimado o cuando un pase es interceptado por el equipo contrario, con una de estas faltas el disco pasara a manos del equipo contrario además no debe haber contacto físico cuando se este atacando al contrario.
